Raised in a Baptist family before moving to nondemonial protestant on the pastoral track. After a short summer of deconversion, I turned to hard materialistic atheism before my meditation practice led me to Sŏn Korean Zen Buddhism, which included a few months in temple residency programs during which I understood how power dynamics mixed with religion. Next, I tried Secular Buddhism, but I found it a bit stale. So, I added a dash of New Age philosophy and mysticism after a decade of mediation and few psychedelic trips, I found it more engaging.

As of today, I'm likely best aligned with the Non-Dualism camp.

As the "organizer" of my ever-changing social group, I'm likely to spend time with humans whom I find to possess a rare quality while working on some sort of project.

Avoid pop culture, 🕹, 📺, 🏈. and towards ⛰️,☕️,🧰.

Spencer from 3-21 could have been accurately described as a "fat kid". However, after a job change and becoming certified as a yoga instructor, I was able to lose 65 pounds. Now, I maintain an active workout regimen that includes lifting and practicing hot, loud, aggressive yoga.

Frugal but not stingy. Budgeting, retirement planning, and a bit of investing have been seen as a moral calling in my life, for many years. I bought my house with cash and drive a 2013 Toyota Yaris with manual windows.

Intellectual endeavors fascinate me and likely are my hobby. I'm constantly listening to and reading several books, subscribed to a slew of podcasts, and attending lectures for the pleasure of learning.

I find Intellectual expansion to be both a means to an end. Curiosity fuels this cat.

The older of two siblings, nearl all of my family lives in Michigan. While I care for my biological family, I am much closer to my chosen family.

I’m unwed and not unhappy about that.

Projects and intellectual pursuits are my hobbies. That might include permaculture one week, making ramen noodles from scratch, a research project on effective app search optimization, and replacing my roof to round out the month.

It's an ever-changing array of activities and adventures.
