Summary
Outside of the offices of Orange Cube Group, there was an abandoned lot, which was technically owned by the building owner or the office it was in. With the help of some friends, we decided we would turn the lot into a local community garden and got super excited for the project.
Unfortunately, the building owner, who had initially agreed to the project, got impatient and covered the entire garden with salt to kill off anything that had been planted. The lesson learned there was that even if you get something in writing via email and text, people can still forget it, and having a wet signature can help formalize the process in the minds of everybody.
