Overview:

As a business owner, I went to many many business networking events. Many of them had a cost, and many of them had no facilitation, and you were left to wander the room and bumping to people. I thought both of these seemed a little stupid, so I started my own business networking group, which was completely free, focused on social connections, not just professional ones, and held a level of facilitation by myself and others to intentionally have people meet and discuss ideas and topics.

These events ran for several months, and then I down prioritize them, as I had more effective ways of generating income and I wasn’t building relationship with people that I wanted to emulate in the long term.
