1️⃣ Overhaul Your Profile
What Google Wants
Go through all 12 pages of content and ensure very details is updated and all the graphics are perfect.

Read this checklist and check off each item yourself.
What We’ll Do For You
Overhauling everything at once can be overwhelming, and maintaining consistency can be challenging.
Over the first 30 days well update your profile chunk by chunk asking you a few questions each week.

2️⃣ Respond To Reviews
What Google Wants
Google is a data machine and review are big datapoints for Google. So Google wants to see you responding with an in-depth and personalized response for each review quickly.
How You Can Do It Yourself
- Use the Google My Business app to respond to all of the reviews as they come in.
What I’ll Do For You
- Add all of your reviews to your Dashboard for other marketing.
- Tag and provide note on common trends.
- Respond with a well-thought-out, personalized response so future readers and Google can see that you're engaged.

3️⃣ Generate More Reviews
What Google Wants
Google prefers to see a consistent flow of new reviews, ideally accompanied by pictures and a detailed description, as well as a 5-star rating.
- Google has a strong rule about Incentivizing reviews and if you get caught you can be banned from Google services.
How You Can Do It Yourself
There are lots of strategies for getting more reviews for your business. Checkout these three blogs.

Each month I’ll get you a new tool to collect reviews. Some of these might come directly from Google and some of them I make in house for you.

4️⃣ Posts
What Google Wants
At least 3 active posts at any given time which normally means 3 new posts per week. Preferably with media and linked to your website. Even better if there is some user engagement.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Write up 3 unique Post and add them through your Google My Business App:
What We’ll Do For You
Write a new post each week ensuring you have at least 3 active posts each week.
AI - We’ll use AI to rewrite content from your website or social media channels to create powerful Google My Business posts. If there isn’t any content for us to rewrite will give AI and outline and let it work for you.
5️⃣ Fix Broken Profile
What Google Wants
Answer all of the questions. Fill in all of the blanks on all of the pages and update your answers regularly.
Google will automatically add / remove or change you setting based on “publicly available data”. This is often wrong… I’ll review your profile each week and fix anything that broke.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Go through your Google My Business profile each week and ensure everything is still correct.
What I’ll Do For You
Weekly we’ll go through your profile with a fine tooth comb and fix anything that Google broke.
6️⃣ Implement New Features
What Google Wants
Implement any new features as soon as they role out.
The trick is that Google doesn’t always tell you when there is a new feature. Nor do they train you on how to use it. Did we mentioned that they are often buggy even when they are rolled out fully?
How You Can Do It Yourself
Follow all of the industry publicans like Search Engine Journal and Google For Small Business reading there content each week. Then make any of the updates needed on your Google My Business Profile.
What I’ll Do For You
Stay updated on the newest trends and features applying them to your account weekly. I’ll do all of the reading, tinkering and bug fixing.
6️⃣ Messages
What Google Wants
Lots of customers sending you messages that you reply to instantly going back and forth until the deal closes. Lots of engagement from both you and the users.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Keep the Google My Business app on your phone and respond to all of the messages as they come in.
- Even if you call a client you want to respond to the message in Google my Business to show google you’re responsive
What We’ll Do For You
Ensure that all of the messages are getting you such as setting up automatic SMS text you or the sales team when there is a new message. I’ll also ensure all of the messages have been answered at least once a week.
7️⃣ Media
What Google Wants
Google would like you to add several (lets say 5) pictures and videos to your profile each week. This demonstrates engagement, give them additional information and users love it.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Upload pictures and video yourself through the Google My Business app throughout the week and tag them as appropriate
What I’ll Do For You
Have your team text us new media as you get it with a messy description of what’s happening. We’ll then clean it up and possibly make a few edits before adding it to your profile.
If you don’t send any media we’ll look for some stock images that are relevant and hopefully on brand and after adding your logo to them we’ll add them do your account.
AI: I’ll use our AI tools to edit your written content to be keyword optimized.
I can also use AI to generate media for you and or edit the content you already have to make it better.
8️⃣ Monthly Reporting
What Google Wants
Google give you a live Dashboard with lots of data and even more export features. They expect you to analise this data at least monthly and then updated your strategy based on the data. They seem to forget Data analtiics isn’t that easy for most people
How You Can Do It Yourself
View the GMB dashboards and export the data from GMB in Bulk which you can analyze in tools like Google Looker.
What I’ll Do For You
Monthly will pull all of the data from your account and analyze it to find 3-5 actionable insights to upgrade your account.
I’ll then apply the updates and text you a copy of the data for your records.
AI: I use some AI analytics tools to find trends in the data.
9️⃣ Product Library
What Google Wants
Google want’s to know all products and services you offer so they can show them to relevant users. They expect you to upload each and every offering with pictures and pricing and keep that data updated any time you shift.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Setup and integrate Google Merchant Center with your Google Business account possibly using and API integration to your Point Of Sale or E-commerce Platform.
What I’ll Do For You
I’ll take the updates you provided us in our dashboard and get them updated 1 by 1 on Google. Any time you make a change let us know and will get that updated pushed for you.

What Google Wants
Google trusts users data more than they trust you because users don’t have an incentive to manipulate Google. So google want’s us to ask questions about your business and then they want you to respond to them quickly.
How You Can Do It Yourself
Get your customers to ask questions on your Google Profile and then respond to them quickly using the Google My Business app.
What I’ll Do For You
Respond to all of the questions which come in if we have the answer or notify you via text to get a response.
I’ll also work with you on ways to get more questions asked on your profile.
AI: I’ll use large large models to write responses and content for you.
