Part 1: Mental
2019 Review
- Life is not better on the other side of the hill so make life good now.
- Working on some feelings of depression and mental fog so I started Wikifieldia.
- My brain is for thinking not for remembering
2020 Goals
- Learn to live well on this side of the hill.
- Document what I learn.
- Living with less cognitive dissonance and more inline with integrity.
Part 2: Physical
2019 In Review:
- Lost 35 pounds and Cracked my spine back into line.
- Created some baseline performance metrics
- Discovered I need to move to feel good. Pushing my heart rate up to 190 and picking up some heavy stuff.
2020 Physical Goals:
- Some aesthetic goals
- Keep up the good health through exercise and food choices.
- Upgrade and prioritize sleep quantity and quality
Part 3: Spiritual
2019 In Review:
- I'm becoming comfortable not knowing the answers, being nihilistic, knowing there is no meta meaning, that I'm going to die.
- Moved away from Christianity and toward Secular Buddhism.
- The jury is out on if there is a "spirt" or a bioenergetic field or not.
2020 Spiritual Goals:
- Finding a community outside of the church. -
- Having more big conversations. Building an intellectual community.
- Spending more time in the flow.
Part 4: Family
2019 In Review:
- My immediate family has found a nice rhythm with everyone where they are.
- Both started and ended my first dating relationship.
- I'm leaning into the idea of the social family.
2020 Family Goals:
- Building that social family
- Being more fully honest with who I am and not passively hiding
- Maybe entering a new relationship and & leaning into who I am apart from a relationship.
Part 5: Money
2019 In Review:
- Expensive year but doing well.
- I’ve got a good foundation with a budget, investment and insurance.
- I need to engage with this. Let’s be intentional and proactive.
2020 Money Goals:
- Some personal investing
- Leaning into my budget more
- Uncover short and long term financial plans
Part 6: Career
2019 In Review:
- Winding down Orange Cube Group
- Started Working for MISBDC
- Thinking about the trajectory that I want to take remember this about learn and not money for a few years.
3 Thing in 2020
- Some sort of plan
- Work on larger challenges
- Getting in the flow. Stop doing more than I can. Stop operating out of a deficit.
Part 7: Social
2019 In Review:
- I know a ton of people but don't have many people that I live life with.
- Some fundamental shifts in friend groups this year since leaning into buddhism and embracing my homosexuality, moving to a new city and changing jobs.
- I don’t have many Social Normative Behaviors.
Looking Forward in 2020
- Building a community of people to live life with.
- Meeting new people outside of work.
- Not being the social organizer of my friend group.

Some have called it narcissistic and others have called it an excellent example of self-examination but whatever you find yourself this is a review of my life in 2019 and an overview of goals for 2020.
